Portfolio Websites
I would like to have a new portfolio website each year, to match my style as it changes slightly over time. I always like to start from scratch each time, as I really believe 'simple is best' and borrowing code for the basis of my own site feels like it could 'dull[sic] the edge of husbandry' as Polonius said in Hamlet. Starting from scratch each time means I have the most freedom too, and I really do want to try novel designs each time.
As mobile-first becomes more and more important, I am trying to keep the experience at least similar on phones, but I do genuinely believe that if we all mostly use our phones to look at websites, it will kill creativity and our eyes.
